Active Aging Week in October is a great chance to encourage adults over the age of 50 to embrace activity and fitness at every milestone. Rachel McDermott has been a licensed PTA for 21 years with extensive clinical experience in acute, long term care, outpatient rehab services and for sports specializing in Aquatic Treatments. Rachel joined HydroWorx International in 2013 with a goal and focus on educating and training clinicians on the benefits of water and how to implement strong Aquatic Therapy Programs and treatments for optimal results for your patients. Rachel has been educating and providing CEU’s for Aquatic Therapy Treatments across the United States for the last 6 years as well as providing ongoing support after. Rachel graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 1997 with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant licensed in Iowa.
